In the glass this powerful Napa Cab shows a deep ruby core that fades to a thin bright garnet rim. The nose displays aromas of blackberry jam, tobacco, sweet spice, scortched earth and the signature cabernet herbal note....

This wine maybe past its prime. Otherwise its a real disappointment coming from what I had thought was a premium napa valley winery. It has good balance but no complexity and a very weak finish.. Where are the tannins ?...

Purchased this wine in 05, it's ready to drink! Well balanced and full of fruit.

Fruity hot nose. Medium bodied and chalky in the mouth with a bright acidic finish.

Plum and blackberry nose. Flavors are tart, with good acidity, light tannin and a hint of black olive on the finish.

Softly sweet earthy nose. Quite sweet, but with good typical merlot mouthfeel, and flavors of coffee, spice, anise. There's a manufactured quality on the mid palate, but its not too distracting. Finishes on a nice tartness...
