  • Acacia Pinot Noir Napa Valley Carneros 2007

Somewhat murky in the glass. Very light nose with some mushroomy thing going on, there. Very pleasant initial taste that includes noticeable fruit--cherry, maybe, some raspberry, and maybe the tartness makes me think lemon--but it doesn't blow me away. A medium-bodied wine. Some unfortunate rancid hints in the finish, but I will have no trou... Read More

Noticeable oaky bouquet, but not overbearing. Fairly neutral on the tip of the tongue, but, then, big, refreshing lemony acid from mid-palate through the back of the throat. Nut flavors on the finish. US$19.69 at Costco in Chino Hills. Read More
