Anderson Valley on Snooth

Very well aged when opened now in 2009. Light colored like a dark blush rose. Raspberrys in creamy vanilla jump out on the nose. Very long build on the palate, with strawberrys and cherrys washing over.

November 2009

We took our honeymoon (bike trip) through the Finger Lakes, and have had a ... even more so than the Anderson Valley. But just because these two varieties do well here, it does not mean that all producers produce good...

Upright and solid on the nose with slightly stemmy toned, and candied black cherry fruit, that features subtle hints of cardamom and coriander. This is packed with sweet fruit yet manages to avoid the cloying sweetness of...

Goldeneye Pinot Noir Migration 2007

Starting at $29.99 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

Very nice herbal and menthol nose. Very rich and fruity with flavors of cherry, plum and cassis. Smooth attack, but with good acidity later. Raspberries with a light leathery flavor on the finish. Long finish. A nice wine.

This Pinot will surprise (and maybe shock!) you. It is funky and feety with some tobacco on the nose! There certainly is fruit present, but the blackberry and cherry flavors are nuanced by a sourness that is surprising....

Phillips Hill Pinot Noir, Marguerite Vineyard 2007

Starting at $40.00 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

A must try pinot! Fruit filled nose, lite on the palate. Aboundance of fresh strawberries and raspberries with peppered cherry jam finish.

October 2009

A voluptuous Zinfandel. It has a big nose, a velvety mouthfeel, it offers white pepper against dark and red fruit. The baance of fruit, acidity, and tannin was impeccable. It was still great 5 years after bottling.

Edmeades Zinfandel 2004

Starting at $22.99 Snoothrank: 4/5

Very good legs and smell. I kept thinking how good it smelled when i was drinking it, just couldn't get over it. It is absolutely fantastic with rosemary and steak. It has a very good taste, it's not overwhelming at...
