  • Napa River Merlot Napa Valley 2012

    Snoothrank:

Full bodied, more like a cab when opened. Nice balance good oak that works well with the blend. Day 2+ in the fridge, this got more acidic. Drink same day as opened for best outcome. I would give it a higher rating with more fridge staying power. Read More

  • Stags' Leap Winery the Investor 2012

    Snoothrank:

Good, but I was expecting more! The newest entry into the Stags Leap portfolio is beautiful in the glass with just a hint of light spring flowers. • John Anthony Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2011

    Snoothrank:

Wonderful wine. Drinks more like a very good Merlot at first, then opens and expresses itself very well. Good balance, nose, and structure. Never heard of this winery before, but I will be revisiting this wine again in the neat future. Cheers! Read More

    Snoothrank:

The newest addition to the Plumpjack Family of wines. This third offshoot winery(Odette)comes out firing with this luscious Cabernet Merlot blend. Great nose, color, and balance all the way through the palate. This is one of the better Napa Cabernets on the scene for this price range. It's a don't miss IMHO. Cheers! Read More

  • Anakota Helena Dakota Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

    Snoothrank:

Tremendous gem from Knights Valley. Deep dark in color and a good mid palate with wonderful floral notes on the nose. This was my first Anakota, and hopefully not my last. It stood up well to some big competiton the likes of Dancing Hare and 100 Acre. Cheers! Read More
