First, this wine is mistagged as being from Uruguay, it's actually from the Ribera del Duero DOC of SPAIN. There was a strong cedar/juniper-like nose upon opening, which faded a lot after a couple of hours of decanting. There is nice fruitiness to the wine with a nice balance of tannins on the finish.
