Surprisingly golden amber in colour, sweet yet acidic (perhaps more than would have liked) but there is a faint hint of Bakewell Tart on the finish which makes this a very nice alternative to Champagne. Another English gem.

The most amazing deep amber colour I have seen in a sparkling wine. As good as anything from Champagne, really fresh sweet apple flavour.
