Terras Gauda is a good wine but one which does not quite justify its price. You can talk to many Gallegos who will tell you that once this bodega got pretty big the quality of the wine started to suffer. It's still a good wine but one that is more at home in the 13-15 dollar range. Read More

Not much in the way of aromas, although, son-of-a-gun, there is a mint thing happening. Very pleaant on the palate. Initial sensation is crisp and refreshing. Noticealbe apple flavor--Granny Smith to be specific. Apple note comes with pleasant acid structure, US$17.99 at Total WIne Read More

Reminds me of a fine Rhone blend with a bit more richness. Nicely balanced fruit, acid and alcohol (12.5%). There is a fine tongue coating texture that pairs well with the slightly citrusy front end. Read More
