This is a very nice wine. I really like the extended barrel aging. Lends a sweet vanilla character to the smell that overwhelms the ripe, sweet, semi tart red cherry. Drinking this wine 2-6-13. Has aged well. Noticeable alcohol burn. Wine is on the lighter side for tannins and acidity is fresh and consistent with the other flavors. Read More

I recently discovered Bierzo wines.. I love Priorat and Ribiera del Duero wines but they can be pricey for everyday drinking, and Bierzo is a nice alternative.
