And if you can find it the Cederberg Bukettraube is a great change of pace for when something with a touch of sweetness is called for. Another wine that's hard to find but it's worth making a note about it! And then take a look at some Grillo from Sicily and Some Vernaccia, or Fiano or... Ok One has to stop at some point! Grassy herbaceousness on the nose with some tropical melon flair. Almost like a new world SB. Very upfront, but after a few sips your mouth gets used to the acidity and this is a pretty pleasant drink. Clean, crisp, and refreshing. A bit bitter and drying finish, but what this really needs is some cured meat or biltong.    (hide)
