  Did not find butyric acid. I found Gazela Rosé to be a a lively, refreshing, young and floral light wine. In the mouth, it is well-balanced with a soft and slightly fizz finish. Best when chilled and perfect for a light meal.

Slightly oily consistency in the glass, but watery in the mouth. Smells strongly of grapefruit and butyric acid (reminds me a lot of Natto, a Japanese food made by fermenting soy beans. Reminded my girlfriend of Parmesan cheese). The taste is mostly grapefruit with a hint of black cherry, but it leaves a lingering butyric taste which is unpleasant - Nikku    (hide)

The nose was powerful and immediately grabbed me with a strong spiced blueberry pie aroma. In the mouth it was rich with mature tannins and a medium acidity. Flavors of blueberry, spice and light wood all intermingled. Currently in very small production, but worth seeking out if your in Portugal. 4/5 [NR]    (hide)
