  • My wife and I are wine people and are planning a trip to Peru and want to do Cusco and visit wineries. Do you know where can I find a map of wineries in Peru? I understand the main vineyard area is Pisco-Ica, south of Lima. How does one get there from Lima?

  • Well Ricardo - it's not that Peru can't produce good wine, it's just that it doesn't.Since there wasn't a huge wine drinking culture, they used the grapes to produce Pisco.   • I just got back from Peru and had some Tacama Winery Blanco de Blancos wine. It was the best white wine I have ever tasted! Haven't been able to find it in the US tho.
