I bought this on a clearance rack, and for good cause. cute bottle, over priced and truly, tasted like cherry cough syrup base. (just add a liquid decongestant) I hope I can still make palatable desserts with it, but please: pass on this, no matter how low$. Got a bottle of this in a Laithwaites (UK) mystery case. Didn't know what to expect, and was very plesantly surprised. It has the freshly cut grass and gooseberry taste of a good New Zealand DB, but with a honeyed undertone that gives it extra smoothness without being in any way sweet - almost like a dry Muscat.
