  • Last Night.  Sorry for the poor photography.  My bad. Nephew ... ... 4-day cruise.  In Ensenada Eric and Erica took the winery tour and came back with this Nebbiolo and Chardonnay from L.A. Cetto.  I guess they belong to the Sterling winery club and that is where the Malvasia Bianca came from.  In the background is BV 1999 Georges de Latour. ... Read More

  • Adobe Guadalupe Red Blend Jardín Secreto 2003

    Snoothrank:

I was able to find the 2008 vintage of Jardin Secreto, a blend of mostly Tempranillo and "other varietals" (the "secret" part). Initial nose is yeasty, but then some strawberry comes in. Initially, quite tart on the palate, but, then some fruit does come in. At first I do not get the tanni... Read More

  • Albarolo Fruta Del 2006

    Snoothrank:

A great wine. Came second in a blind tasting I recently organized for my wedding, right after Termes' famous Numanthia. Good body, extraordinaire fruity aroma and taste. Albarolo makes you ask for more. I coincide that character and ending have a good chance of improving. Read More

  • I have toured and consumed the wines of Ensendada, and the vineyards and winery's are some of the most beautiful I have seen anywhere in the World. The wines are WOW!!!! Many international gold medals won. We need to see their wines on our shelves here.
