Prosecco Di Conegliano Wine

Prosecco di Conegliano is a DOC denoting the growing area subsection of the larger Prosecco di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG zone in the Veneto, Italy. The wines from this subzone are produced from grapes grown in lower lying areas than in Valdobbiadene. Because these vineyards tend to be warmer, the wines have a fruitier, peachier quality than those produced in higher elevations. 

Prosecco is the name given to both the style of the sparkling wine and the grape from which it is made. Though more recently, the varietal is frequently referred to by its nickname Glera to best delineate the two.

Got it in a restaurant and figured it would be a throwaway ($48 bucks ... OUCH) But very refreshing and light and fruity and actually had a little pizazz behind the bubbles.
