Delle Venezie Wine

Venezie IGT (delle Venezie) are wines that are produced inter-regionally between the “Tre Venezie” Italian provinces of Belluno, Padova, Rovigo, Treviso, Venezia, Verona, Vicenza (Veneto), Gorizia, Pordenone, Trieste, Udine (Friuli-Venezia Giulia) and Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). These wines can be produced from fruit within either of these provinces singularly or as a blend from throughout the IGT zone. Also, the wines do not have to adhere to DOC regulations for allowable varietals or aging, allowing wine-makers freedom of experimentation. 
 
The wines from delle Venezie IGT may be produced as bianco, rosso, rosato, frizzante (slightly sparkling) and novello (young, akin to Beaujolais Nouveau).
