The Gabbiano Pinot Grigio has a straw-yellow color with floral notes and nuances of pear and honeydew melon. Bearing in mind that I'm not a great fan of dry wines, this Pinot Grigio has a good pitch of sweetness and a little tart finish. A light pasta dish, steamed vegetables and/or fruit would give some nice balance to the dinner wine. This is my wife's current favourite as her tastes seek less sweet/wet than mine. Read More
