  • Les Cretes Vallee d'Aoste 2006

    Snoothrank:

The Les Cretes Torrette showed floral notes with fresh turned soil, cherry and mushrooms. On the palate, it was soft with sweet red fruits, earth and dried floral notes. On the palate, I found soft raspberry flavors that were juicy yet turned slightly bitter toward the finish and left me with a flavor of toasty rue. This was a very unique wine and highly enjoyable. • Institut Agricole Régional Valle d'Aosta Vin des Chanoines

    Snoothrank:

Garnet color, dried violets, plum - just a hint of tannin. Wonderful with goat cheese and speck. The Pinot Noir in the blend is clearly recognizable. If you want to see the color explode observe it lit by a candle in a Pinot Noir glass. Read More
