I was wondering how the Snooth ranking for wines is arrived at, especially when ... look at the 2006 Sportoletti Assisi Rosso, which receives a 3.5 Snooth ranking, though with no reviews, while Daniel Thomases (formerly of The Wine Advocate but now writing/reviewing for Veronelli) gives it a 96, a shocking score for a $35 wine.
