It is followed by 18-20 months maturing in new French oak barriques (upon further research it may also contain a bit of Merlot). Juicy and fruity, with colors of deep, ruby red and aromas of blackberries, licorice, and chocolate; that evolve into intensely smooth flavors of ripe cherries, chocolate, dark fruits, and a finale as fresh and bright as a clear summer's afternoon.    (hide)
