Lessona Wine

Lessona is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 km northeast of Turin and about 12 km east of Biella. Lessona is a vinified by the Sella family since the XII century, using Nebbiolo grapes and up to 25% of other local grapes (Vespolina and Bonarda). The Lessona DOC was created in 1976.
