This is the first time I've got Barbera, that was an interesting experience. The aroma seems to be close to sweet black fruit tones but taste is unexpectedly full of wild cherry and green apple. Best choice for Italian pasta.

lovely violet color with an initial nose of cherries. Quite vinous at the beginning but opened up with secondary savory aromas of onions, herbs and dusty earth. Full and fresh in the mouth... a very interesting Barbera!
