Cirò is a DOC wine of all colors produced in the Calabria region of southern Italy. It is one of the oldest styles of wine in the world, with ties to ancient Greece. Cirò bianco is based on the grape Greco Bianco, most often as a varietal release, but it is also sometimes blended with a small percentage of Trebbiano. For more information on the history and production of Cirò, please see its region page here.
