Deep, dark, almost black in the glass."Sour" nose--not promising. Very nice on the tongue. though. Fruity up front--currants, prunes. More layer as it rolls around. Very forward nose, with attractive aromas of spice, violet, black raspberry, plum and sweet earth seem to jump out of the glass and give you a good preview of whats going to hit your palate.
