I wasn't going to post anything but since this thread is still going . . . You ... areas like Jura, Savoie, Madiran, and others can be sources of value but as it's unlikely you'll find much, I'll not say anything about...

sturdy, well rounded wine with lovely length on the nose, considering. It's stock full of dark fruit, polished leather and warm earthy tones. Would store well for a few more years, or enjoy it now with a plump stuffed...

Sounds intriguing. I've only had Tannats as a varietal from Madiran, and have tasted a few South American (most from Argentina) wines that used it as a blending grape. The folks at Chrysalis are welcome to send me a...

Tannat is such a fascinating grape, it just makes this wine worthwhile right ... comes with a solid French Madiran. This wine is very enjoyable and is a great value

Finca las Moras Tannat Reserva NV

Starting at $12.14 Snoothrank: 3/5

this was a good wine, went very well with broiled lamb chops. woodsy, smooth though, the other descriptions online were accurate, it's mellowed with age.

Subtle aroma belies the taste. Very full with taste of blackberries and plums. The after taste is try but pleasant. Great to accompany red meats.
