big disappointmentI rather like the Chenin from Thierry Germain, but here the bottle had a problem. A slight smell of cork, not really TCA but cork. In the mouth it is lean. The Loire has many really good sparkling wines to offer - the quality ones always go under the "cremant" description. Langlois is owned by champagne house Bollinger and has the know-how and terroir to make one of the best sparkling wines I know under 20 bucks. Creamy, yeasty with ripe apple aromas.
