Pays Nantais Wine

The Pays Nantais comprises the western part of the Loire Valley, mostly southeast of the city of Nantes. The wine for which this region is known is Muscadet, made from the Melon de Bourgogne grape. The best of these come from the Sevre-et-Maine, named for two of the area’s rivers.
