Anjou Wine

We had this at the James Beard House, with a quince dessert, and it was lovely. Not too sweet or too heavy.

Very light pear and apple notes leading through from the nose to the finish, where it mingles with a lightly fungal minerality.

this is a great wine, especially for the value. It has a strong nose and then hits the back of the tongue with a little kick. Sort of tangy. Really great with hard pecorino or semi soft Port Salut cheese.

I found this to lean a bit heavily on the toasty vanilla oak notes, making it a ... sugar crust, tinged with d'anjou pear and green apple

Pears and honey on the nose. Sweet, with honey and a lovely apple/pear skin acidity on palate. Medium acidity, and medium to full body. Good length. Very good, and would be an excellent substitute for a much more expensive...

A golden amber wine with medium intensity. Ripe stone fuit, honey, with lychee and floral overtones on the nose. Well balanced. The flavours follow the nose. A well made delightful dessert wine.
