Wine that is ... from Banyuls for example, or Rivesaltes, can be quite sweet, and Spain has some fortified red sweet wines, from Malaga for example, but you will need to hunt for them. In the latter categories, you can find wine from Georgia, for example, south of Russia. That wine is very often quite sweet, at least those that I've had. From Australia, Yellow Tail is available in almost any store that sells wine. It is not a brilliant wine, but it does seem to have some residual or added sugar, not sure which, and if you start drinking something like that, eventually you will want something more "serious" so give it a shot. FWIW, most people who drink red wine don't want any sweetness to the wine. When they talk about sweet, they are usually not talking about actual sugar content, but are referring to the presence of fruit flavors, which our minds tend to correlate with sweetness.   Sweet fortified wine (16%) with rancio, dried fruits, sweet spice, caramel, molasses and nut aromas. Medium + length. Fairly good
