The Côtes des Blancs and the Côte de Sézanne are each Chardonnay-producing regions within Champagne, France.

Côtes des Blancs is on the south bank of the Marne, south of Epernay, with chalky soils particularly suited to Chardonnay production, as the name suggests. The villages of Oiry, Chouilly, Cramant, Avize, Oger, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger are all located within this district. The Chardonnay grown here contributes the zingy freshness to the sparkling blend.
Côte de Sézanne is just south of Côtes des Blancs, with mineral-rich soil and cool climate that is also conducive to high quality Chardonnay production. These vineyards are a relative newcomer to the area, planted in the 1960s. Because of their more southerly exposure, the Chardonnay gets a bit riper and more perfumed.
