Pouilly-Fuisse is the best-known white wine appellation in the Maconnais, which is in southern Burgundy. Because of the region’s more southerly climate, the wines are often quite ripe. They can be oaked or unoaked, and some are suitable for long aging, while others are easygoing wines meant to be consumed in their youth.

  • Antonin Rodet Pouilly-Fuissé 2009

    Snoothrank:

Pouilly-Fuisse is a great region for those the love crisp, no oak Chardonnays and want to find some great values. Rodet's is very bright with a big granny-smith apple presence but also a nice nutty character toward the finish. Touches of minerals as well. All in all a nice, refreshing wine. Read More
