There's a slight orangey hue in the yellow-white, making it look pretty esteemed, like royalty! Excellent floral nose, and nice roundness on the palate.

Laboure-Roi Macon-Villages Maximum 2009

Snoothrank:

Interesting wine. The aromatics to me feel more reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc than Chardonnay (Chardonnay in Sauvignon Blanc clothing). Very bright flavors with herbal and slightly floral notes. Just a hint of toasty butter from the oak.
