Lovely in the mouth with solid acids supporting a broad fleshy yet fresh mouthfeel with a touch of vanilla and hint of fresh baking spice embedded in rich apple, citrus and subtly tropical fruit tones. This has it all, richness, a suave feel and freshness. This is youthful and will improve with a year or three in the bottle but finishes with excellent minerality and length with a great finale of ripe orchard fruits, lime oil and a hint of baked pie crust. 90pts    (hide)

  A bit of banana and cream on the nose. Nutty, crisp, oaky, with some vanilla and cream. Good, fresh acidity.

  Wonderful herbal and citric aroma, with hints of basil and rosemary, lush pineapple flavors without too much acidity, really a pitch-perfect backbone. Mildly buttery finish.

  Rich and emollient. A nice mineral finish. Very good and complex with great minerality. Finishes on red apples and lemon notes. My #2 of the tasting (of 6 chardonnay's).

  light, crisp, good acidity, some oak, with ripe apples, minerals, and a hint of citrus. Not over the top,seductive, or profound, but refreshing, and a very good value. also note, this is now a screw top. great with white fish or on it's own.

Higher acidity, higher minerality with a soft finish. We had it with pork chops and it balanced nicely. Could also just as easily imagine drinking it by the sea with some fresh oysters. Actually, i think that would be the perfect sidekick for this wine... It does remind me of a Chablis, although you can taste the oak and there's a good amount of citrus in here, but it's a great value at $10 and that's what my summer wines are all about!    (hide)
