Tasted with Etienne Grivot from an untouched bottle in the cellar. Stunning nose for meditation. Right at its peak.

From a different planet. Huge palate staining black juice. Tastes and smells of asian spices and reduced soy sauce. Delicious stuff, just not classic burg.

A bit unbalanced and chunky for good burgundy. Over-extracted and on the oaky side. Still a drink I wouldn't say no to though.

Perhaps it was my bottle (which had a fill just shy of the cork and perfect color), but a bit dried out and over the hill. Still a tremendous nose, but drying on the palate.
