Ladoix is an appellation created in 1937,although there has been viticulture here for centuries.for red and white wines [75% are red] from the commune of Ladoix-Serrigny on the Cotes de Beaune in Burgundy. There are 11 premier Cru vineyards some of which form part of the Aloxe-Corton appellation. and part of the Corton hill and its Grand Cru vineyards are in the commune.Much of the wine made in Ladoix is labelled as either  general Burgundy or Cotes de Beaune
