Aloxe-corton on Snooth

FANTASTIC! Ready to be enjoyed now!

Jacques Prieur Corton-Bressandes 1995

Starting at $92.00 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

Lingering effect of blackberry

Vincent Girardin Corton Renardes 2002

Starting at $780.33 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

I just can't believe someone gave a 3.5 to this wine. Amazing nose, amazing balance, medium bodied with a chocolate finish. Even at 100$ per bottle this is a deal.

Chevalier Pere et Fils Corton-Rognet 2005

Starting at $90.74 Snoothrank: 4/5

For an older white that hadn't been kept cool and was on clearance for $6, I thought "Either this will be great or crap but worth a $6 gamble." The cork was saturated and the nose was a bit like gym socks, but...

Comte Phillippe Senard Corton Charlemagne 1997

Starting at $5.99 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

Luscious, buttery, deep richness, almost caramelized. Transformed my opinion about dry wine wines.

Roux Pere & Fils Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 1998

Starting at $70.00 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

Not a fan. Lots of minerality, with a smoky, burnt ash finish. Very thin and weak on the palate. Not oaky or buttery at all. I wouldn't call this a grand cru. Similiar to the overrated Louis Jadot CC.

Verget Corton Charlemagne Vielles Vignes 2005

Starting at $164.99 Snoothrank: 3/5
