    Snoothrank:

Not at his best, I would say it lost some of its finesse and flavorsbut... if you wait nearly 1 hour, it's opening to some more interesting things: white flower aroma, as well as some nice roudness and quite instense mouth. In fact I just had a basd start with it! Read More

  • Comte Senard Aloxe-Corton 2005

    Snoothrank:

Very pale and delicate looking. This is a lovely glass with a very gentle character full of stemmy fruit, limestone and mineral tones of top notes of grapevine smoke and dusty yet precise strawberry fruit. Sweet and elegant in the mouth with herbal tones adding background contrast to the light raspberry fruit. Finishes with good length and depth... Read More

  • Joseph Drouhin Richebourg 1979

    Snoothrank:

The most outstanding Burgundy I have ever tasted. So very rare and difficult to find, a true collectors wine. Their smooth richness is balanced by a certain amount of tannins and acidity. They have plenty of body, with a long, powerful and lasting aftertaste which brings to mind the smell of cherries, strawberries and undergrowth. I would rat... Read More
