Fleurie is one of the crus of Beaujolais. Like the other crus, it is located in the hilly northern part of Beaujolais, which contains all the best vineyards. As the cru’s name suggests, the wines are indeed pretty and floral. Many benefit from aging.

  • Domaine Manoir du Carra Fleurie Vers du Mont 2010

This attractive Fleurie evokes tropical fruit such as banana and mango on the nose with a touch of damp earth. The entry is smooth and creamy with more banana and a bit of ripe cherry. Short to medium fruity finish. Good quality for the Cru with the usual soft demeanor. 87 points. Read More
