Pomerol Wine

Pomerol is a commune on the right bank of the Dordogne, in Bordeaux. Most of the producers here are relatively small. Merlot is the most important variety here, followed by Cabernet Franc. The commune is the home of Ch. Petrus. Interestingly, Pomerol has refused any official ranking or classification of its wines.
