St. Émilion on Snooth

Cherry, blackberry nose. Dried cherries, slight pepper. Very well balanced.

Chateau Lassegue Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2004

Starting at $39.99 Snoothrank: 4/5
October 2009

Now, now, now Greg... (I'm usually saying this to GregT ;-) ). Leaving price and snottiness out of it, are you saying you get *no* enjoyment out of *any* wines from Bordeaux?

October 2009

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/expat/expatnews/6406138/Bordeauxs-winemakers-reconstruct-the-past-to-charm-tourists.html Looks like some opportunities for flipping farmhouse fixeruppers in Bordeaux! Looking on this positively,...

A poor imitator, the wine is too watery, thin. The aftertaste weakly lingers, bitter, on the tongue, disappointing a fine nose of blackberry and port.

Chateau Coucy-Maureze Montagne-St.-Emilion 2002

Starting at $17.93 Snoothrank: 2.5/5
