The region’s name, which means “between two seas,” refers to its location between the Dordogne and Garonne rivers. Entre-Deux-Mers is best known for inexpensive dry white wines, but is producing reds of increasing quality and value, such as Cadillac and the generic appellations Bordeaux and Bordeaux Superieur.
