Bordeaux Controlée, a.k.a. Bordeaux AOC, is an appellation covering wines produced all over the Bordeaux region of France. The grapes consist of all the regional grapes, produced as single varietal releases or in blends. For reds, these are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Carmenère, and Petit Verdot. Almost every year this wine wins some kind of Award / Medal at top level International Wine Fairs. Of course it is not a fancy Cru class wine, but at it's AOC class level it shines, in my opinion.I ... Read More
