Cotes du Rhone Montirius 2007
Snoothrank:
Great deal for $12.99 at K&L here in SF. Subtle fruit and just a hint of soil at the front. Nicely balanced, yet robust tannins and a tight close on the end. Excellent everyday drinker with food or on its own.

Joseph Drouhin Beaujolais Nouveau 2009
Snoothrank:
Bright purple in the glass. Nose of blue and blackberries with tones of tea. Wonderful bright fruit with an almost lambrusco-like zing. Some citrus tones on the finish. Not a long lasting wine.

Très boisé à l'ouverture. Meilleur une fois aéré un peu.

Barton & Guestier Pinot Noir Bistro 2007
Snoothrank:

Domaine Belles Pierres Coteaux du Languedoc les Clauzes de Jo 2007
Snoothrank:
Fragrant and spicy, a nose of lychee, ginger and peach, hints of ginger and orange peel on the palate. Unusual and rather lovely.

Chateau Creyssels Coteaux du Languedoc Picpoul-de-Pinet 2008
Snoothrank:
Fresh, zingy grapefuit and lemon, bitterness is slightly over the top but hey, it's still very young.
