Lontué Valley on Snooth


excellent. Floral, blossom, something of the lenghth, fullness & quality of a montrachet (but obviously not a chdny) without being over honeyed as some viogniers. remarkable for the price -

Very luscious blackcurrant on the nose with nice smooth finish. Had it in decanter for 5 hours before consuming, no tightness at all.

24 hours later - better for sure. Cherry and leather dominate. Its not extremely fruity, but opened up a lot since it was opened.

Maybe the wine needed to open up a bit, but it wasn't big the way cabs tend to be. Very tight, little fruit. overall, drinkable, but not very impressive.

A very leathery, grapey nose with some notes of cough syrup. Its a more restrained wine than I'm used to from Chile, there's a lot of fruit on the finish, but it's slow to start. Still very young and tight, with a green...

This wine is very complicated. Def you need to decant or open the bottle for 10-20min to have its own flavor. I tried 2000, 2001, and 2004, they are def the best wine in San pedro brand.
