  refreshing alternative to a cava. all the great value from cava with a splash of french yeast. My first brazilian wine which will hopefully lead to more great stuff from brazil.

Well, you'll ... read mixed articles about Miolo because its the biggest company here, so you have all kind of opinions about it, what can I say is, Miolo makes popular wines, and GREAT wines, it has wines from US5,00 until US100,00. Cave Geisse you can find in our local market for about US20,00 . And Miolo Brut for about US15,00 . And yes, Sparkling wine is flying, its impressive how its sale numbers are raising. But only national, imported (champagne, cava etc.) are decreasing because of its price.    (hide)

  Muito interesante, nos somos vizinhos.. eu estou em Peru. I am a wine ... very mixed reviews about Miolo. The cave geisse sounds interesting. In Peru sparkling wine is flying off the shelves more than anything. Do you know what the cave geisse costs wholesale (mais ou menos)

  Sure, our sparkling wine is just great. We Have a lot of great "champenoise" ... labels here, I can suggest Miolo Brut or Miolo Millesime and Cave Geisse As reds, we have some good Merlots in the south, mostly from Vale dos Vinhedos (Wine Valley) Miolo, Casa Valduga, Pizzato, Lidio... And in the deep south I suggest Miolo's Quinta do Seival Castas Portuguesas (Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro assemblage) I can tell you that brazilian wine is getting better and better each and every year, and for the first time Decanter magazine tasted and suggested some of them...   Miolo Vale Dos Vinhedos Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Lote 43 Red 2005

  Great Vintage for this wine. An icon on Brazilian market. Full bodied, great color and texture. Great bouquet, plum, leather, tobacco a little nutty. Nice fruit more like a jam. Well balanced, nice smooth tanins, good acidity . Nice and long finish. Great wine, with 5+ years.
