Thermenregion Wine

he Thermenregion consists of 42 winemaking communities and 700 winegrowers, currently planted on approximately 2,600 hectares of land. The vineyard’s range begins just outside of Vienna’s city limits and runs along a chain of hills known as the Eichkogel, the Anninger, the Pfaffstättner Kogel, the Badener Berg and the Sosser Lindkogel and Despite the region’s historical beginnings, winemakers of the ends just south of Baden.region incorporate many modern day winemaking practices such as nature friendly vineyard care, limited production, exacting grape selection and careful vinification of the wines. These practices allow the wines of the Thermenregion to stand out with refinement and elegance, depth and complexity and to pair excellently with food. Climate: The Thermenregion is typically known for hot summers, dry autumns and cool winters. Vines are protected from excess moisture by the Anninger ridge and see a considerable amount of sunshine which all but keeps the grapes immune from mildew Read more »

Clean and light aromas of peach and apricot with hints of elderflower and apple on the nose. This showcases a smooth and rich mouthfeel with melon and lemon fruits coming in on the palate with some nectarine and grapefruit flavors as well and a lightly floral finish of white blossom. Snoothrank:

Nicely fruity on the nose with aromas of lemon zest, cream cheese frosting and vanilla cake batter. Smooth and silky mouthfeel with a rich palate of perfumed fleshy peach and green apple with vanilla and honey spice and a stony minerality to tie it all together. Intriguingly, this also touches on a grassy herbed note at times, showing versatilit... Read More

  • Stadlmann Zierfandler Mandel-Hoh 2012

Yeasty, bready and spicy aromas of toast, cedar and vanilla with white pepper, lemon zest and honeydew melon. In the mouth this is explosive with fruit flavor, with ripe red apple, melon and mango flavors with candied notes of watermelon and nectarine.
