What's your favorite wine region?
My knowledge of wine is very limited, and I haven't had the chance to taste wines from all over the world yet. What wine region do you like more than any other, for any reason (especially taste!). I'm also looking to visit some regions in the states, so if there are regions that are great for visiting, that would work too! Thanks!
I've spent some time in CA wine country, and I think that Sonoma has to take a cake. It's a little more casual/relaxed than Napa, and the tasting room experience is unparalleled. Even if you're not an experienced wine drinker, Sonoma is filled with pallatable wines and even better people!

Definitely one of my favorites is the Languedob-Roussillon region in Southern France. Picpoul-de-Pinet is a lovely white varietal that would be perfect for this last month of summer! Try Felines Jourdain Picpoul..http://www.snooth.com/wine/domaine-felines-jourdain-domaine-felines-jourdain-picpoul-de-pinet/
