Had this twice in the last 2-3 weeks and enjoyed. Nice, complex, what you would expect from a Napa Cab, nothing extraordinary but very solid.

Very nice. Very nice indeed. Lots of fruit, not jammy, dark fruit, velvety smooth. Bargain. Paid 9, taste like 20.

Root:1 Cabernet is one of my favorites. Hear good things about the Montes 07 Cab, but haven't gotten my hands on any yet. I really liked the Veramonte Reserva Merlot and the Concha y Toro...

dmcker, I'm mostly into reds, would be interested in syrah and petite syrah. I'll be on the lookout for your suggestions. Thanks.

I am discovering Paso Robles and find the Cabs to be of very good quality. So far, I've tried Liberty School and J Lohr Estates. Both were well structured smooth and had some complexity....

This is a well balanced Merlot. Dark fruit, toasty oak, mocha. Soft tannins and a nice finish. A very nice wine @ a very good price.

"Thanks for your suggestions on Merlot. I read some of your reviews and thought we might have a similar palate. I also don't understand the big hype of Pinot, but have taken your Acacia Carneros pinot noir 2004 suggestion.

Tried Blackstone Cabernet for the first time. Heard a lot about the nice QPR of Blackstone label. Frankly, I was disappointed. This wine had no distinct nose. Was very hot on the palate. I...

Ok, not big into Pinot, but had a few glasses of this and was impressed. Very nice, a Pinot with a backbone and complexity. May need to reconsider my take on Pinot.

Dear wlstiles3,

Hello!

This is Daniel Shin, studying in MSc Food Management at University of Surrey.
I am studying the consumer's wine buying behaviour online.
This research seeks the opinion of people who have had an experience purchasing wine either online or from other sources to investigate factors influencing customers’ wine purchasing behaviour in online shopping.
I have to find at least 100 people who have an experience of buying wine online.
If possible, could you send the questionnaire to members and ex-members?
It is linked to http://freeonlinesurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=jj73z5zbvz3kxvj610601
And if you cannot link to survey, please copy and paste the address on the web.
It just takes 1 min to answer the questionnaire.
I would be most grateful, if you could spare your time to send the questionnaire.
If you want to see research results, then I will send you after analysing the survey.
The research will contribute to a MSc dissertation in Food Management at the University of Surrey.
Any information provided will ONLY be used for research purposes.
All responses will be treated with the strictest confidence.
I am only in interested in obtaining consumers' views.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind Regards,

Daniel Shin
