"I gave up wine since I like Scotch better but barely drink anything anyway.
Sorry you took me wrong, I was just going to give you a Waring opener which also cuts foil because you cut your fingers sometimes. A trifle. I think of you as perhaps a "grandaughter" and I enjoy doing "random acts of kindness."
So, go in peace, I won't be back to Snooth, try to be kind to the next oldster extending kindness to you.
BTW, in Jax, there are ads for programmers, Fortran, AIX, Cobol, "big iron' languages.

Bye, the conversation was pleasant."

I have a very limited experience with wines in general but never expected to ever find a finer Pinot Grigio than the 2007 vintage. With eggplant and okra crisps, it was totally smooth, a wonderful...

2007 vintage, $6.99. Smooth taste, barely any aftertaste at all, tasting of fruit in an elegant understated way. Definitely worth laying down a case or two at this price.

"Mardi Gras is 2/10/10, bad time to take off from school unless you have either already aced it or bombed out. Plus, I heard it's like those restrooms in greasy taverns, the whole town, a week, have to stay drunk to stand it. I have some pics of somebody I knew here and she went to Cancun. lol
But that's way down the line and we can get together on your visiting later. Have you ever been to St. Aug?
On the web, originally nobody gave their real name, wasn't couth. Tradition, and we had to think up stuff and I've been the only SPF through it all. Also limited myself to 3 passwords, what could be stolen, found that out which is why I am on Mac. So naturally annemarkis is fake, UR proves that, quit looking. Sorry, beautiful name.
But then I forgot that sometimes I did say SPF was real, I'm trying to drop that because the tradition changed. Trying to keep up as long as it's free.
Happy you are back in NY, lived through DC, may have caught the H1 flu, if you run a fever, don't fool around, drop the hot toddies and go to clinic.
Don't worry about a gift but I was going to buy on line and have it delivered to you by Christmas .IOW,need address-will that work?

"Lol, I don't go to UofR, I go to RIT. I don't know if they publish all their students, but here's my little page for a program I'm involved in this fall to decrease the freshmen dropout rates: http://www.se.rit.edu/?q=node/260

A gift, eh? I'll never deny myself a gift, but now I have to think of something to get you as well. Haha, shouldn't be too hard.

And yes, I like bud lite. And but lite with lime. I actually feel guiltier about the latter for some reason. I mean, I like my orange in my blue moon and I like a lime in my corona. But to actually have a beer with lime flavor already in it seems horribly cheap. The flavor kind of reminds me of ginger ale, haha.

No wines from me since last time. I just got moved in to my new apartment. Plus, I've been a bit sick lately. No idea what it is, just kind of sluggish and achy and tired these past few days, so I've been laying low on the alcoholic funs. This weekend I'm going to a friend's house in Binghampton to party, though, so here's hoping my health with come through!

Haha, an invitation, eh? Something tells me it would awfully hard to find a reason not to, my schedule pending. Some friends are trying to convince me to take a week off and go to mardi gras with them. Now I've been to New Orleans off season (YO, I totally see what you mean about the add int he MIDDLE OF THE TYPING AREA) and it was awesome, but mardi gras? Besides paying ungodly amounts for room and board and travel. I don't really like massive crowds, and drunken crowds in the level of mardi gras are kind of unbearable. Plus taking a week off from work and school in my senior year is kind of weak. My GPA is like an expensive wine glass, and the 5-year relay race is almost complete. I'd be pissed if I dropped it this late in the game, you know?

I think I'll buy a nice red today. I'm in New York, so even though it's late August, the air feels cool to me compared to DC. I gets to around 85 max, and dry. It's nice, but a nice red would feel nice. Like a Zinfandel, or Syrah. Hmm, yes, maybe a Syrah. "

I purchased an Almaden, 3 liters in a plastic bag with a valve, and it was very good, a mountain Rhine wine. However, the makers don't mince around, 6 weeks is it whether opened or not and...

Chianti, 2007. Pretty rough, a common wine now. might be better in 4-5 years, never great. Another one of those no vineyards deals, blends juices from several unknown sources.
