"Could very well be. Could also be the case of bordeaux wines tasting different from bottle to bottle..for whatever reason. Hasn't happened that often to me, but definitely more than with italians. I'll need to try to stick to similar settings when tasting the next few bottles just to exclude the "ambiance" factor. Will keep posted.
p.s. In contrast, Chateau du Moulin Rouge and Caronne St. Gemmes have shown tremendeous consistency. All in the same price range as Lanessan."
