Hand of Snooth

rar8888

Hi I am Ryan. I am into quality red wine that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Currently I am drinking a lot of zins, South American reds and Spanish reds. I will however splurge every once in a while for a nice Napa Cab.

The only thing info that I could find for the Vassani brand was that they make keg coolers. But $150 for a 52 bottle cooler would be a great deal if the cooler was decent.

What varietals do you like? $3-$6 doesn't leave a lot of options but if you talk with your local wine store management you may be able to get a decent volume discount.

This wine has a great fruit forward style and lots of zest if anything it is a little hot.

Old world style that isn't overly fruity. Very smooth with some notes of smoked meats.

Sausal Alexander Valley Family Zinfandel 2006

Very earthy, with green pepper strong on the pallate. Interesting wine.

I would also throw whole berry fermentation vs crushed and natural yeast vs introduced yeast into the fermentation discussion.
